What should I eat if I’m trying to get pregnant? What kind of mattress should my children sleep on? Is my deodorant going to affect my nursing baby? What should I do for my baby’s ear ache? What type of sunscreen should I use on my infant? How should I deal with the lead paint in my home? Is it safe to treat my animals with insect repellants? Should I let my kids use my cell phone?
Do you have a question for the doctor?
Feel free to ask me whatever is on your mind! I’ll do my best to answer what I can, and you won’t be publicly outed (unless you want to be).
But don’t just take my advice; if you have a question about your health or that of a family member, talk with your doctor.

HELP FOR FIBROMYALGIA PAIN! Here’s what I’ve tried and my results so far:
CYMBALTA-no pain relief, but works wonders for depression
LYRICA-headaches and more, worst (gradual) withdrawal ever
SAVELLA-took with LYRICA, made side-effect worse, ditto withdrawal (quit them one at a time)
NeuroReplete, CysReplete, Replete Extra-helped some, but 22 capsule daily, $280 a month!
Oxytosin shots-no effect
Swanson’s Fibromyalgia Relief-Helps a lot, $5 a month, easy sublingual
Swanson’s Nerve Relief-Helps with neuropathy, especially early a.m.
Avoiding STRESS (with help from psychologist-reduces flares
I live in an fibro-unfriendly climate (elev. 6400′), cold winters, snow, high winds) that I can’t avoid. Do you have anything up your sleeve I haven’t tried? My ND (didn’t go to Bastyr, isn’t well versed in homeopathics) ran out of ideas.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Have you considered eliminating wheat from your diet? I don’t have fibromyalgia, but I’ve been experimenting with a wheat free diet for other reasons and it seems a lot fibromyalgia sufferers are helped by giving up wheat. It’s an acidic inflammatory food, so it may be worth a try. You might consider going to the Wheat Belly Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Wheat-Belly/209766919069873) and just ask if anyone could comment on their results with treating the condition. I’ve found their page to have a very supportive community. Good luck!
Love your Lyme prevention tips. Any recommendations in addition to the standard protocol of 3 weeks of antibiotics for treating Lyme disease?
I’m planning on writing a post on it soon!
